HW Editing Tools

The spot healing brush allows you to remove marks, fix blemishes, and clears up spots. It quickly removes imperfections in your photos/images.
The brush tool draws brush like strokes. You can create special effects, including calligraphic effects using the brush tool.
The clone stamp tool allows you to copy an area of an image and copy it onto another area. It paints with sampled pixels of an image and is used in Photoshop for pixel-to-pixel cloning.
The history brush tool takes a color picture, turns it into black and white, then brush the original color back into a particular feature. It allows you to paint and reveal previous states of images.
The eraser tool changes pixels to either the background color or to transparent. It is used to remove areas of color from the current layer or from a selection of this layer.
The paint bucket tool fills the continuously colored area with the foreground color or pattern. It can be used to fill an area with a specific color.
The blur tool unfocuses or blurs image areas.
The sharpen tool increases the contrast among adjacent pixels to give the illusion that things are sharper.It sharpens specific areas of an image.
The smudge tool uses the current brush to smudge colors on the active layer or a selection. It spreads and mixes content of image areas.
The dodge tool helps brighten trouble spots in your photos. It lightens the pixels you paint.
The burn tool darkens the pixels you paint.
The sponge tool is a retouching tool used to alter the saturation of a portion of an image.
